From her hands and knees she gazed at the edifice in the distance. Across the room, littered with the remains of games well played, the cube of games sat, with its crown of bead mazes resplendent in the early afternoon sun. But to get there, and climb the sides to that wondrous summit, a long and arduous journey was required. Under the jungle jumper she crawled, stopping to bounce it up and down from below and make it sing a joyful song. Then she wobbled her way to upright on her 2 chubby legs and gazed into the distance. A field of oversized blocks still separated her from her goal, but she was not to be deterred. She picked each block up in turn, and asserted her dominance by pressing her teeth against them before tossing them aside. Then the ring stacker pole caught her eye, and she grasped it in her pudgy paws. Back on the path, she swung the poke and its rocker base left and right in front of her, clearing her path before continuing her crawl. Over the haphazard pile of jigsaw puzzles and pieces she clambered, and then slid down on a loose tile, skidding to a stop in front of her goal. A semi-toothless grin cracked her face open, and a squeal of delight escaped, as she walked her hands up the side. As her hands closed over the wires atop she let out a high pitched screech and began moving the beads. Her hunger for travel sated, she sat down to gaze in wonder at how far she had come, and wondered how long until she would crave an even longer odyssey. Gazing longingly at the gate that stood at the foot of the stairs, she resolved that she would conquer that as soon as someone forgot to latch it shut.
